I was an English teacher by profession, but it was not my vocation.
I worked as a teacher, interpreter and translator for a couple of years.
Later I felt more at ease, being a tourist guide, gardener,
and working with the mentally handicapped.
At the moment I work for a recycling firm, I work as a web designer,
and I work with the Tarot. I give readings using the Nature Tarot deck,
or, if that is what you prefer, the Rider-Waite Tarot.
In 1987 I first came into contact with the Tarot,
and it was love at first sight. In 1990 I started giving
Tarot readings, and in 1996 started teaching the Tarot.
For me the cards have always been a tool for making contact
with the deeper levels of my own life. It was also a pleasant game
to play, and it helped making certain choices clearer,
for me and for others. In 1998 my experience with the Tarot
got a new form of expression when I made the first photo-collages
for the Nature Tarot deck. By the end of 1999
the deck was finished.
I live in Heelsum, a village in the Netherlands, with my twelve year old son Storm.
At the moment I am making a new Tarot deck.
